Now, with dozens of peppers in my balcony I have decided to make my own pickled cayenne chillies.
First of all, I have collected some green cayenne peppers from my balcony plants.

After that I have set a glass jar and cap to a hard boil in order to sterylize it.

On the meantime I have mixed equal parts of wine vinegar and water and I have added salt and some dill to this mixture. I heat this mixture and let it boil for some 10 minutes. After that I let it chill.

I put the cayenne chillies in the glass jar...

And fill it with the water/vinegar/dill/salt mixture.

The last step is a bain-marie for about 10 minutes of the sealed jar.

And ready! I will taste it at the end of August or at September to check it is edible and apt for human consumption.
